Becky and Mick look forward to their pasta and garlic bread on a Monday (I know, how predictable ) but I really didn't fancy it, so I had a ready made curry out of the freezer - chicken jalfrezi

You always ask on a fast day Saundra but this one was a real winner

A huge bargain from last week in M&S, pack of fresh chicken escalopes in a
lemongrass, lime leaf and coconut marinade. In a foil dish that you chuck in the oven And 185 calories for half the pack
We made (measured) rice with green beans, garlic, masses of spinach, squeeze of lemon and a few cherry tomatoes to sit it on.
It was gorgeous, but I did only paid £1 for the chicken

Do you know, we popped in there yesterday thinking we might get a dine in deal but for once they had hardly anything left (it being mothers' day), no whole chickens, no sides except potatoes...
Anyway, they don't have many reductions but at least nowadays they do do them.
We do look for the odd nice bargain ready meal (especially for Bb as then I can have fish) and there was one, Pasticco, a Greek thing, pasta and lamb I think it is, made it years ago.

It was almost 800 calories
It went back on the shelf
