Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 07 Mar 2016, 07:00

Good morning. :D

Don's off to the UK at noon and coming back Thursday.
He lands when I'll be at work so I'll take him to the airport this morning, then leave the car at one of the parking bays, get the train the 3 stops into central Malaga and I'm going shopping. :D :D :D

Don can then pick the car up Thursday and meet me after work. I do like a plan. :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ladies :) Ally that sounds like an excellent plan to me :D Hope Don's trip goes well xxxxx

Saundra it looks dodgy here too, but more rain than snow I think  :cute:

Morning everyone :) Well we had a nice day yesterday, a fabulous meal out - that pub does the best roasts ever - and I did hear from the boys after all ;) Poor Chris has had food poisoning or gastric flu (he's not sure which) and had been in bed since Wednesday  :( Bless him, he rang to say sorry he hadn't sent a card! At least he's on the mend now :) Not bothering with WW this morning, I know darned well that after such a big meal I will (temporarily) be heavier so there isn't any point   I'll go back next week! ;) Plenty to do here anyway, and I'll get a good walk later, as long as it doesn't pour down ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Chucking it down here and blowing a hooley  but it was forecast ;)

A day of cleaning fiddly bits we haven't really done properly, inside the door frames, windows etc. They've all been cleaned, but we have friends coming for a visit later this week, so want the house to be properly clean.

Making pasties later.

Safe journey to Don and hope all of you over there stay safe in the nasty weather xx

Morning Ladies

A beautiful blue skies sunny, but cold, morning here. We had some Graupel overnight but that was about it and it only settled where it was icy.

(And for those that don't know what Graupel is:
Graupel, which is a kind of hybrid frozen precipitation, is sometimes referred to as “snow pellets.” The National Weather Service defines graupel as small pellets of ice created when super-cooled water droplets coat, or rime, a snowflake.

It's a word used in Germany all the time and I had to google this morning to see if there was an English equivalent, but hey ho - now I (and you) know... )

Usual work day for me then home to sort out the bedroom so the painter can come in tomorrow and finish that room off

Ally, good plan re the car - I assume Malaga airport parking is a tad cheaper that Heathrow parking? ;)
Kaz, enjoy the walk
Saundra, stay indoors and warm
Ton, enjoy your cleaning spree and the pasties. Stay warm and dry as well

have a lovely day all x

€3 a day Ria...and they'll wash the car. :D :D :D

It's an area just on the outskirts of the airport..you ring the company when you land and they meet you with your car. We use them all the time. :D :D

There do seem to be a few bugs about Saundra, I think it was more likely to be a gastric bug than food poisoning - he cooks for himself and is a good cook, and his kitchen is always clean!
