Morning all :)
It's quite nice here at the moment, bright and very breezy, although we had rain earlier.

Yesterday's weather was 'fun' - a friend was coming to take us out for coffee, it was fine; 5 minutes before she was due it went completely dark and we had a huuuuge hailstorm, complete whiteout  She sensibly waited till it stopped 10 minutes later.
We went to the nicer garden centre so we could pretend we were sitting outside in the sunshine, their restaurant is always lovely and warm and bright, and surrounded by exotic plants :D

Good job you had those injections Ton, prickly plants can give you all sorts of things, do keep an eye on any particular scratches won't you xx
I'm sure it's going to be beautiful, your other garden was gorgeous and now you have the space to do what you like :)
Have a good day all

I love garden centres Di, the ones with lovely seating areas and a lot of what D calls 'fiddly bits' for you to walk round and look at - whatever the weather :)

Good morning all.

I've only just managed to get on board, as my computer kept giving me the 'unobtainable' message.

Gosh! Haven't I missed you all.

Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, but who knows it could change rapidly as it did yesterday with a flurry of snow :?

Been up ages, but we had Sky here at 8am to upgrade us to SkyQ and it's taken ages. Will take a bit of getting used to as the menu and remote has changed a lot, but I think we're going to love it. We can now record up to 4 programmes while watching a 5th so no more hunting through the schedule to fit things in so they don't clash. I know, I know  but just for example on Thursday there are 4 things on at 9pm (previously could only record 2) so it was a nightmare getting it all in. Also means if we're away for a few weeks we won't come back and find we've lost some or all of a programme because something on series link popped up.

Kitchen's all ordered. They will hold it for up to 6mths so we can arrange delivery when we're ready to have it installed.

Need to pop out later to pick up an order from M&S and that's about it for today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, childminding day here. It was gorgeous earlier and Kellie and I had a lovely walk, but now it has clouded over. Hoping for a reasonable weekend as we have friends coming from England on Saturday to stay a few days. Lovely to be back here, although the little foray on to FB was fun! Many thanks to Kaz and Mick for all the hard work. Have a good afternoon and evening, everyone :)

Never heard of SkyQ Jen, is it new?

I'm so glad we are back in our rightful place, I don't much care for posting on the FB page....no idea why but I prefer it here :D

I had a better sleep last night than the previous night, but I was burning up when I went to bed, took paracetamol and lay with a cold flannel over my face....nose is either blocked completely or running....nice. I cancelled my hair appointment as I don't fancy coughing all the way through...

I went out for groceries earlier...felt awful as I was driving there, really dizzy and hot - got there, I got the trolley and started walking round but then I left with nothing  Got back in the car, initially to drive home, but then I went to Lidl which is close by, I had a £5 voucher - managed to actually do some shopping there, came out and went back to Asda!!  Felt a lot better then so I don't know what was wrong.

Mega drama here last night re Amy :| You'd think by now she'd have outgrown it all.....I am supporting T as best I can but it's exhausting. I think a lot of it could be avoided if he didn't pander to her so much....

Have a lovely Thursday all, what remains of it! ;)

Sounds like a bug Gal, hope you feel better tomorrow ((((x))))

Same old, same old then with Amy :( Sorry to hear it though, for a while it looked as though she'd grown up a little xxx
