Blowing a tempest outside tonight, and gone very cold. We had sleet showers yesterday, and there's a possibility of snow in the Midlands tomorrow evening - they think!

There remains some uncertainty about the northern extent of the precipitation.
The precipitation type is also finely balanced, with its intensity having a bearing on whether it falls as rain or snow to low levels.
This warning will therefore be kept under review and be updated as necessary. - per BBC Weather

I knew I would jinx the weather by mentioning spring Ally it's not so much cold as wet, here at least, so as long as he has a waterproof jacket Don will be ok

Nothing much planned here today, must do some washing I think, a walk later, and Becky is due home this afternoon, otherwise a quiet one on the cards...

We're gardening today, putting in the new plants and bulbs and then it's the "pleasure" of cutting back yet more brambles
