It is great to have good neighbours, they sound like they will be an asset to you as you will likely be to them.

We moved just over a year ago and we are also lucky we have nice neighbours.

I think that if you have "the neighbours from hell" to whatever degree then it make for unpleasantness and most of us want peace and quiet and sometimes a bit of support. (Me especially as I am getting older) and can't do as much as I used to do.

I do envy you out there in the sun lol

Joanna lives in Albuferia and was telling usabout the local area, which was lovely to hear. Of the three ruins, one on our land, 3 families lived, until about 30 years ago - the children moved away and then the parents died, so the houses were just left to fall to bits.

She did say, on her next visit up, she'll bring some of her special bread for us :D :D :D

Ton, that sounds like a great deal for all concerned. Excellent!

I think I would be getting a chest freezer just in case a sheep becomes available. ;)

It certainly is, Manxie. During my life I've had good ones, bad ones and indifferent ones.

('m very happy with how thing are in our retirement apartment. Having about thirty-odd
assorted neighbours, one can pick and choose which ones to consider as close friends, and
this works out very well.

I'm glad to hear you are happy with your move.
