Good morning Ally,
lovely sunny morning but cold.
Taking mrs.e to have her eyes tested. We go every year to an optician. There have been no real changes. She outs drops in every night. This started 18 years ago after she had a fall. She has occular hypertension.
THat is what it says on the letter we got from the consultant at the time. She doesn't need glasses unless it is very small print.
Then going dancing this evening.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all :)

Ally have fun looking round the shops :D

Cruiser, I hope mrs.e. gets on ok at the opticians :)

Hi Ton, I won't say have fun doing the housework :P but hope you have a good day all the same ;)

Well, it's Monday so I would normally be going to WW but I am giving it a miss for a week or two (might post about the reasons later on a more private board) so won't be going to the zumba class straight afterwards either! However Jane runs lots of classes, including one very nearby tomorrow morning, so I'll go to that, and my usual one on Wednesday night too, so will still get my zumba classes in 8-) :) B's off work today, unusually for a Monday, so we might go out later, if not I'll go on my own for a walk :) Nothing needs doing here really, I got all my housework done yesterday afternoon while everyone, including the dogs, was out - Mick taking H back and B at work ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Cruiser, good luck for Mrs E at the optician
Ally & Ton, don't overdo the housework'y stuff; Ally enjoy the retail mooch afterwards
Kaz, enjoy your day whatever it is you end up doing... WW sounds intruiguing ;) But close by Zumba classes in the morning sound perfect to me - a good way to start the day and then you know it's done and you can enjoy the rest of the day

Usual work day for me and then straight back home. The painter was meant to come finish off the bedroom today but he let me know last night that he's been down with a tummy bug all weekend and that he'd confirm this morning - 6am I got the message to say he still wasn't well. Hopefully he'll come over the weekend as I would quite like to get that room back to normal; but I'm coping fine as it is :) Stray cat currently named Bobby needs to be renamed Houdini - he managed to escape out the kitchen last night at midnight with a loud crash and bang as he knocked over other bits I was using to barricade the doorway; thankfully I managed to get him before realised the cat flap was open. So today the temporary door / gate has been duck taped to the door frame - if he gets out of that then wowzer!!!!

have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here.

Intrigued about WW Kaz, will be waiting for you to 'spill the beans' ;)

After brekkie, we're off out to look at kitchens, Terry starts work on April 4th, not that far off now, so we really need to get a wiggle on. We've already had Howdens's do a plan, but it's not quite right so it will be nice to get more ideas. I'm thinking cream gloss shaker style, not sure about the worktops yet. It will be a fairly big kitchen, but as it will open out into the new extension, there's not as much wall space as you'd expect. An absolute definite is a big larder unit, living in a bungalow means we're restricted for storage space so we need to plan as much in as we can.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen, I know it's a bit of a nightmare if you don't have one close by - but Ikea kitchens are amazing. They really have thought out every little bit when it comes to maximising utilisation of space - and their kitchen designers are amazing. If you've got an idea of what you want and the measurements of your kitchen... maybe go to Ikea and have a chat with someone there

Morning all, gloriously sunny morning here. Mr Osc has just gone off to play golf and I will go for a walk shortly. No particular plans for the day - my sister may call in on her way home from minding Kellie as she (my sister, not Kellie) is going away on holiday tomorrow. Otherwise I'll probably catch up on the ironing :? such an exciting life I lead  Enjoy your day everyone :)
