Morning :)
Dull and windy and rain due here, which is a shame.

Bb has gone out working, the first time since the cataract op - the eye is still not right, but no worse seeing than before the last op.
I've had one of those mornings where you seem to have been busy but not sure how it got to 11 o'clock before I could sit with a decent coffee :?
There's washing in (now drying) but not much else to show for it! :D

Oh and told the postman (a young one I've never seen before), that if he wants people to answer the door and sign for a package, he really needs to knock a lot harder than his feeble little tap  I was in the kitchen - with the w/machine on spin - and didn't hear a thing, but usually do.
Fortunately, although Minnie never barks indoors, she does jump up and go towards the door if there's someone there - he was already shoving his card through by the time I opened it

Saundra it will mean a lot to your friend that she can come to you and be allowed to cry, or shout, just be herself, hugs for both of you xxx
Meriad I do hope the stray finds a home, he's a beautiful-looking cat :)
Hope you get the last of H's bits Kaz - and fingers crossed it stays good and cold up there!
Jen enjoy your couples evening, it really is brilliant that you were introduced to that group :)
Ton you will both deserve your curry :) (please tell me you're not having potatoes, rice, bread and chips with it though ;) :D ) x
Ally enjoy the party :)
Hope everyone's day goes to plan :)
x

Afternoon all, absolutely miserable day here, wet and cold. We were at a funeral earlier (more about that on the Family board). Taking it easy for the afternoon and going out to friends this evening, they are having a few of us over for drinks and a catch-up. Not until 8.30, we would really rather go out earlier, because we are old people who like to get to bed before midnight  However I'm sure we will have good fun. Enjoy your day everyone :)
