Morning all

Bright and sunny here at the moment, would be lovely if it could stay this way for the boys visit. Expecting them around 12ish so need to get out to do some food shopping before they arrive. Elijah has been a bit poorly so it was touch and go if they'd be coming today. No point in stocking up if it wasn't happening so right now the cupboards are bare of the things they like. Not sure if they'll be here until Wed or Thurs, all a bit random this time round.

The wind has abated, a little, and we have some sunshine. Not ventured out yet

As it's dry, outside work for us - the floor cleaning ans dusting can wait for another day or so. Just watching the news and the north had it very bad - huge mud slides, houses gone, water higher than cars - dreadful for them.

Ton, what a horrible time for those affected by the bad weather. I haven't been online much or had the TV on much at all so haven't seen what's going on but mother nature can be incredibly ruthless. Hope recovery can start asap and lives get back to as normal as can be as quickly as possible. Heartbreaking

Bit of a later start for me this morning - had to drop off a stray cat at the vet first. He's been hanging about for some time and isn't neutered so causing a fair bit of issues with my cats and others in the 'hood. So nabbed him last night, locked him in the bathroom and off to the vet this morning. Cruiser - he'll feel like that brass monkey by the end of today Usual work day for me then back to the vet to collect said black cat and have him in the bathroom another night and then let him go tomorrow morning (weather dependent)

Gorgeous here too today, if a tad chilly!! We started off with a cover of snow, icing sugar stuff, but it's gone now thanks to the sunshine, also a couple of flurries during the morning but again didn't lie I've gone back to work,but at first I wished I hadn't, I ran straight into problems! Got them sorted though and a nice quiet admin day on my own to ease me in....still coughing like mad all the time but think my temperature is back to normal and no need for painkllers today....apart from my hip which started hurting early on this morning...I'm dropping to bits!!

Enjoy zumba Kaz, I envy how fit you're getting!!

Ton I really feel for people who have experience flooding, must be horrendous! Stay safe xx
