Rodo, as Kaz mentioned the other day, the error codes indicate a server side problem. When it sulks there is not much that anyone but the server owner can do.

It is not only VV with problems. TalkTalk DNSs have all gone down in the Leeds area, I have had to go to OpenDNS to stay connected.

Luckily I know what to do.

Ours is nothing to do with that though Frank, it's good that you can get round the TalkTalk issues xxx

I keep having problems with different sites including this one not doing what they should.
It is an excuse to go and do something else.

Seemed to be an internal connector issue inside the server. Nightmare to debug if it's intermittent. Restart once is fine, but if it keeps on doing it and doesn't log the error you are left guessing.

I don't envy Mick the job of finding out what it is.
