Battening down the hatches

The weather has been terrible - and is set to continue for the rest of the day - it's so windy, I've never known it like that here.

But at least the amount of rain we're getting is good for our bore-hole

We can't even put the television on, as it keeps turning itself off and the internet is also a bit dodgy.

We've also discovered that the back door is not a good fit and the wind is whistling through it - a job for Grumpy tomorrow.
