Karl and Nadine are heading out for brunch so I'm heading over to theirs a bit later to stay with Thomas and Amelia whilst the parents are out. Then a bit of shopping in town and that's about my day planned.

Morning all. We've just come home from our annual trip to camp bentzon. Had a ball and an early night for all now. Both kids now solo in the kayaks! I'm so proud of them.

Christchurch has had another quake this afternoon, 5.7.

We have a cold sunny day here, my favourite Winter weather Just a normal Sunday, Morrison's in a while then home to watch the iplayer stuff we've saved during the week I had a very nice card and a pretty cushion from Mick - I normally get flowers but at the moment I already have daffs in the kitchen and a bunch of yellow roses I bought during the week to cheer up the living room, so I reckon he thought the cushion was a better idea. It is very nice

Blowing an absolute hooley here with heavy rain showers - but it's quite warm

We'll be staying put - I've already got the wood in for the fire and it looks as if we're in for some cold nights, so both fires will be going, in that case.

Pork tenderloin for dinner - no flowers or cards here, just a fry-up for breakfast and a lovely dinner.
