Another 'meh' start to the day weatherwise - grey and damp and as said; just 'meh' Bored of it now - could do with some lovely sunshine days

What type of window display is it Ally? Your school definitely sounds like A LOT more fun than any school I ever went to

Usual work day for me and then home to chill on the sofa.

The weather looks a bit better here today, still grey but the wind has died down and the driving rain has stopped for now! I might even get out today, for a decent walk! I do hate it when I feel penned in by bad weather! Becky is off work again today, so we might go out together.

We have sunshine and clouds this morning.

It's Carnival day, so although not officially a holiday, most shops and offices re closed, so everyone can go and enjoy themselves

We'll stay here, doing yet more stuff and I really must get on with sorting out our clothes, think people must think we only have a couple of jumpers

The wind has dropped and the sun is shining. What a change from yesterday. We should have gone ot last night but glad we didn't as there was a crash on the M6 near us and we could have been stuck in the hold up.

After yet more rain overnight and early morning it's finally stopped, and cleared up quite nicely - and yes, thank goodness the wind has died.

The cafe where we had our bacon butties on Sunday was on the news last night, along with 'look how high the waves are, and how windy it is' reports - you could barely hear the reporter, and both he and a chap he interviewed were having to hang onto each other to stay standing

Been for my jab this morning, now we have an England v S Africa cricket match to watch
