Rather grey and chilly here

Off to Ourique later but also need to go to Aldeia de Palheiros, to find Sergio, our mechanic. We need a new tyre and tracking done before the MOT, so he needs to be aware of that. trying to speak to him over the phone is impossible, so we need to find him

Sort out some bits in Ourique and then back to sort out some more clothes, I think. Too chilly at the moment to work outside - although my back could do with another day off and wet stuff is forecast for today too

Morning all, we have storm Imogen battering here, and what a night! It was really noisy, I didn't sleep very well at all. I'm not going out in this on foot so will be giving WW a miss. Plenty for me to do indoors anyway

Morning all

It's still blowing a gale this morning, nearly got blown over when I got out of the car yesterday evening

Off to visit mother shortly, won't try taking her out this visit, far too dangerous. Afterwards we'll pop into town, E's promised me a trip to Pandora for a couple of new charms. His appointment isn't until 3.30 so we should have time for a coffee too.

Keeping fingers tightly crossed the wind calms down before the drive home tomorrow.

I have been a busy bee on this gloriously sunshiney morning.

Bed linen all washed and pegged out, house cleaned from top to bottom, about to have a coffee then go for a run.

Walking into town later when the shops re-open after siesta to buy some new trainer socks and have a mooch in a new clothes shop.

Morning you three and everyone else

Kaz, same here - I really didn't sleep well at all. My bedroom faces the back of the property, the bedroom window looks onto the patio and I have an awning that was flapping about and making so much noise despite the windows and cat flap being closed. And goodness me did it but pour down at various points - so incredibly loud. I'll be glad when these storms are done with and normality returns.
Ton, good luck getting things sorted and definitely take it easy until your back no longer hurts
Ally - gosh, that's a super busy domestic morning. If you're done with it, please send some of your good weather our way
Jen - good idea not taking your mom out - it's really not the weather for it. Apparently it's meant to start calming down from 3pm onwards so hopefully your drive will be OK

usual work day for me then meeting up with a friend for dinner - I totally forgot about it, thank goodness Nadine (who is joining us) reminded me. Although between us, I would quite happily go home and have an early night rather than going out

Still stormy here, I did manage a VERY quick dash to the Co op for a paper, which is full of what happened across the road at the weekend, they've quoted Mick and our house has the dubious honour of being in the photo of the taped off area
