Oooerr!!

Postby Kaz » 06 Feb 2016, 20:18

We live on the edge of a quiet estate here, opposite a children's playing field. This evening there has been some sort of incident on there - an ambulance, several police cars and officers crawling all over the field! One man was wheeled into the back of the ambulance, he looked conscious but wasn't 'walking wounded' :? The entrance to the field has a tape all around it, officers were searching the field with torches, and one in a forensic suit has just left!

There was a large group of young people taking to the police afterwards, I did pop out and ask a PC if anything had happened that we as residents should be concerned about, but he was quite offhand and fobbed me off!

No doubt we will find out, but it's a bit worrying, Becks and Mick walk the dogs on there!

Oh ooooer indeed. Hope the man is ok.

Try walking the dog later and talk to the scene guard.

Nasty, Kaz - hope it was nothing too serious.

(Nothing currently being reported on the Gloucester Echo online about any incident in your area ....)

I know Ossie, I've been checking  ;) xx

Weka it's pitch dark, raining hard and the field is at least ankle deep in mud, so I think I'll wait to hear ;) I don't think he was tooo serious, no oxygen mask on...

I hope it wasn't anything too horrible, just yards from my front door! :?

I originally thought some kids on booze and a fight breaking out, then I caught on with the police tape and forensic suited officers.

It might take a while for info to get out.

Take care xxx

Frank I think the same :? There is nothing on local news sites or police sites yet!

Three big tents on there this morning, the gates onto the field and playground are blocked and taped off and there is a copper sat in a car! I still think we have a right to know, it's on our doorstep!

I'd love to know, Mick's been on his Facebook and nobody seems to know - ome of the neighbours also asked the cops but they weren't saying. To my mind this means a very serious incident and they are being quiet until an official statement is released - or God Forbid relatives have been informed   :(

It's given me the willies a bit :?
