Oh me too Loz  :?  Especially as in summer and winter we wore the same kit, just cullottes and aertex shirt - even on the hockey field in the dead of winter or the pouring rain! :o No track suits in those days - apart from the PE teacher who was always well bundled up on the hockey pitch in her tracksuit and scarf and gloves

Fugi I used the schools hockey sticks and tennis rackets, but lots of the girls did so that wasn't too bad.......

I wore the same sports cullottes for the whole time I was there, from aged 11 to 17  I was a round little thing at 11 but thinned out as I got older and taller, so they still fitted my waist - although they obviously went from knee length to very short indeed :?

Our PE kit was a nightmare - a red t-shirt worn with navy gym knickers...and that was for indoor and outdoor lessons! Depending on the teacher, we were sometimes allowed to wear tracksuit bottoms when it was very cold. Mrs N always allowed us but if we had Miss M then "just run faster girl, you'll soon warm up!"

I went to the same school for all my school years, so it was a bottle green gymslip, white shirt, green tie, green gabardine coat or blazer in the summer and we had a green beret too. Divided skirt for sports/pe. I can't remember if we had white or green socks, well it is 46 years since I left

Being a mixed school we did not do PE we did sport. The girls did netball, rounders, tennis, hockey and that one with a net at the end of a stick. We did rugby, football, cricket and, deep joy, cross country. We always wore the same kit - shirt, shorts, socks and boots - no matter what we were doing  and anyone turning up with unwashed kit was sent to the showers for a scrub down and then had to wear the (cleaned) wet kit the whole lesson.

Went to about 11 different schools  and every single one of them wanted a different uniform

The one I actually have photos of, is navy blue pleated skirt (which we used to hitch up with the "money belt" we had to wear for our dinner and bus money, and orange and navy stripe around the blazer and felt hat- yee gods a felt hat  And in the summer we had to wear straw boaters, with a navy and orange strip round the brim.

Kids here wear what they want - in the case of the young lady this afternoon - a shirt, bra, shoes and that was it :o

Primary school was white socks, grey skirt, pale blue blouse, grey jumper and a grey and blue white striped tie.

Secondary was white socks and shirt, navy blue skirt, jumper/cardigan, tie and blazer.

And our PE kits were white shirts and blue P E knickers. No skirts or jumpers. Whatever the weather. I remember running round in long socks, blue knickers and white t-shirts playing hockey with a black ball so we could see it in the snow, whilst the PE teachers sat under the shelter of the changing room hut, huddled up in their tracksuits and coats!

No uniform in primary school. Intermediate I had a maroon woollen jumper, white shirt, tartan skirt and black lace up shoes, only the school was in a poor area, so you could wear any jumper that was close to th right colour and your shoes could be black Kung fu shoes. Anyone remember those?

Secondary (college) was a white polo shirt with school emblem, grey woollen jumper, grey tartan skirt and black lace ups. I played top level representative "sport" for the school so was awarded "colours" which meant my mum had to buy the green woollen jumper, and I wore that instead. I was awarded colours 4 times. (Cricket, soccer, rhymic gymnastic and debating)
