Well it's a fine day here so far, no rain and promising some sunshine We'll be out later, and it's much nicer mooching around when the sun's out Quiet weekend again, Harry is here next weekend as it will be a day or so before his birthday and we'll be celebrating early, but this weekend it's just us. B is working tomorrow, but not today.

I'm up early to start keeping an eye on the twitter feed relating to various footie fixtures I might attend; yet another Saturday of postponements beckons, despite the better weather. Two matches in the area of my chosen game have already been listed as doubtful ....

Looking good out of all the windows the slight mist over the valley has now gone, so more work outside

Washing machine on and once that's finished, it's cheese and onion toasties and Mr Martin - first time in almost 2 years and then put the solar on, free lecky, brill

Working on pulling out more of the blasted shrubs again, then down to the bar for a few beers, finish off the pork stew and collapse

Bright and sunny here, fingers crossed it stays nice as the boys will be arriving around 11.30ish, really nice that Elijah chose to come here for his birthday treat. Errr actually I think the thought of ice cream at Sorbetto is the main attraction

Very dull here, despite the radio keep telling me it's nice and sunny, and yet more rain due later

Bb's working, not sure till when but he'll call in for milk and stuff on his way home.
I have no plans at all, which suits me fine

Afternoon all, very dull here too and the air feels very damp. We have friends coming for lunch about 2pm so we have been tidying up. I made bacon and red lentil soup in the soupmaker yesterday, and Mr Osc has made a pavlova. We will do sandwiches to order, also cooked a piece of ham yesterday and we've got some nice bread. So we will have a few hours of great chat and catching up. Better go and get changed, then set the table. Delighted to have Ton back with us. Have a good day everyone
