Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 11 Jan 2016, 08:05

Good morning. :D

Rain is forecast but at the moment the sky is blue and the sun is out. :D

We're aiming for a relaxing day today. Walking into town later for a mooch, coffee and cake. :D

I'm making prawn & chorizo tagliatelle for dinner tonight but we'll pop out for a beer first then come home not too late!

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, have a lovely relaxing day :)

Morning all, I'm a bit shell-shocked to have woken to the news about David Bowie dying! He was one of my absolute all time favourites, especially his early stuff from my teenage years. RIP Ziggy xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Off to weightwatchers this morning, then zumba. Becky is coming along after weightwatchers for the zumba class, she really enjoyed it last Wednesday, which is great :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Oh my gosh Kaz...I've just read your post about David Bowie! :o :( :(

Only last night plenty of his tracks were played in our kitchen disco.

RIP Mr Bowie. Your music was fantastic. xxx

Morning all :D

Piddling with rain here.

I had no idea David Bowie was ill, he just released a new album last week, what a shock. Always liked Ed Stewart, another shock :(

Need to get out and buy some more veggies this morning, we're eating tons of the stuff at the moment. Not looking forward to getting wet but hey ho needs must.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Ally and Kaz

yes, what a shock to hear the news this morning - another musical legend who has died too young. I only heard it in the car on my way to work :(

Usual work day for me - a bit tired today though; the rain last night kept waking me up it was so loud at times. The road this morning were rather wet with some very large puddles; but thankfully no flooding.

Enjoy the zumba with Becky Kaz :D it does make it more fun having someone to go with
Ally enjoy the day with the girls - will be interesting to hear what time you do make it home tonight ;)
Jen, good on you with the veg; I definitely don't eat enough of them. Must try and incorporate them into my diet a bit more because I really do love most of them

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning :)
Bright here at the moment, showers forecast
We had not just torrential rain but a huge thunderstorm last night, around 1.30 :o

Horribly sad isn't it, about David Bowie. I do agree about not knowing how ill he was, but it made me wonder why we think we should know...I guess there are lots of big (and smaller) stars like him, who aren't ever much in the papers, they manage to stay mostly private.

Didn't know B went with you to zumba Kaz, that's nice, hope you both enjoy it again :)
Jen we too get through tons of veg, I need to get some more today as well - only on Friday I couldn't cram anything else into the two (big!) salad drawers :D
Now somehow the broccoli's gone, ditto the cabbage and carrots, no mushrooms or little tomatoes...and Bb's out of apples :D
His daily apple is as much part of his day as morning coffee, there just have to be apples :D

So I shall be going into town sometime, plus taking back that jumper (or maybe both, having second thoughts!).
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all, it seems to be an ok day out there, no sunshine though. Usual h/worky stuff here, Mr Osc is touching up bits of paintwork around the place, with everything ivory white it is easy to do. I want to clean our bathroom and I hope to get out for a walk in a while. Otherwise nothing much planned. So sad about David Bowie, a huge star with enormous talent, and seems to have been a nice person too. Have a good day everyone :)

She only started last Wednesday Di, and came today as she's working Wednesday night, but is hoping to come whenever shifts allow - and yes, it is nice :) We both enjoyed it. I've lost a pound of my Christmas weight so am pleased, and all in all it was worth turning out in the appalling weather

Hope you get all your bits done Osc, and that it's nice enough for your walk :)

Good afternoon everybody.
The rain has started again.
Busy morning, shopping and then to the bank in town.
After lunch have been in the car to Asda, Home Bargains and to get some new inks for my printer.
Have been on here for half an hour getting rid of emails and sending some.
Mrs.e is still trying to get rid of her cold. She wakes up in the night full of sweat. Hasn't been out for overa week.
