What's for tea

I found some mashed potatoe in the fridge plus some cooked mixed veg
So I fried it up with a bit of cheese
Till it was golden brown
Really yummy with a slice of bread butter

We had veg soup and baguette. I had a bit of plain baguette with mine, but Mick and B had the pork and chutney sausages I defrosted from the freezer in theirs. Just the job on such a wet and chilly evening. I like the sound of yours Saundra

Another soup supper, here, Scotch broth.

I decided to defrost the freezer, and have a clear out. Everything for keeping is wrapped in a duvet with the exception of two tubs of fried rice and some mushy peas.

We had a lovely ribsticking stew with mashed potatoes and turnips, followed by home made rice pudding that Mr Osc liberated from the freezer. Just right for a miserable wet night.

Casseroled diced beef, carrots and onions, sliced potato on top, with a jar of beef 'n ale sauce, simmered with a bottle of some illicit Polish beer which Master O managed to leave behind from a previous visit. Served with a cabbage and leek mix.
