Good morning. :D

A lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Jackie, Sue & myself are off to Torremolinos for the day. :cute: :cute:

We will be ladies wot lunch and shop.

Once we've exhausted ourselves doing that we're going to the German Paddy for a few beers and a bit of a shindig.

Taxi driver Don will pick us up when I ring him to save us staggering back to the train station.

Have a great day everyone.

Sounds fantastic Ally, have a lovely day!! :D :D

Morning all, I hope everyone is well, we were awfully quiet yesterday! I'm hoping my charger will hold out now that Mick has mended the plug for me, don't want the expense of a new charger or (even worse) new lappy at the moment! :?

The sun is out, just, but the sky is a bit pink over the field opposite so I expect we'll get some rain later. B is working a long shift today, Mick is back to working from home after his couple of days in Swindon, so a normal Friday here. It will be a quiet weekend, no Harry.

I hope Ton will get her broadband all sorted soon, I'm really missing her!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

I was out and about all day yesteday and instead of a quiet evening home ended up at Karl and Nadines  hence not much from me yesterday :D
Usual work day for me. Got in 1/2 hour late because of trains - delays and cancellations due to icy rail conditions. I sometimes do wonder at South West Trains - this is the UK and it is winter; ice is to be expected - no? :?

Ally, have a fab day - it sounds amazing
Saundra, enjoy the hair dresser. Not so much fun having to pay bill though
Kaz, you can get universal chargers that aren't overly expensive; have a look at somewhere like Maplin.
And yes, will be nice to have Ton back - hopefully they're settling in well and enjoying their new home x

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Good morning all.

It's sunny but cold here, and the pavements are icy. It seems Winter is arriving at last.
Been a walk to the local shop, now I'm going to read the morning paper.

Hope you all have a happy day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment :D

Got the tree and decs down on the 6th as planned, but only did a quick tidy round so keep finding tinsel and pine needles everywhere, need to give the house a blitz sometime today. No other plans will see how energetic, or not, I feel as the day goes on

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning everybody.
It has stopped raining but still grey skies.
Have been to pick up a pair of trousers. They have managed to let out the waist as they had become a very tight fit. They are for my dinner suit which I will be taking on my cruise.
It is a tailor I used to use to have suits made when I was working. They do a very good job.
Going to the bank this afternoon, then just pottering.
Mrs.e is still full of a cold so is not going out. We have stocked up with paper tissues.

Morning :)
I woke up to the man on the radio telling me it was a dry, bright start to the day - except I could hardly hear him for the rain hammering against the window
At the moment it's not raining, but not holding my breath ;)

Have a lovely day Ally :)
I heard them say about the trains Meriad, ridiculous!

Have done a few whizzy jobs plus had the cricket on (Australian 20-over league), partly just to see some sunshine :D
Bb's working locally so will be back sometime for lunch
Hope you're all having a good day

Hi all, another one in poorly corner :( Mine is mainly a cough and a few sniffles but I am aching everywhere and have had nasty bouts of IBS which I'm not sure is connected to the cold or if it's because I have had my meds increased for BP.....either way I feel really rough. Feeling pretty down in general atm tbh, I'm sure it's SAD related, but either way....

Can I just add, I wouldn't normally have posted about me feeling rubbish on FB, but I need someone to know I'm unwell and didnt want to tell her directly, IYSWIM. But thanks for the comments ;) xx

T woke me rudely this morning at 6.40 wanting to know where his spare car key was??!!! Apparently his door lock had frozen and the spare got it unlocked last time...Jeeeeez that man has half a brain cell I'm sure!! I suggested he try sticking the key in hot water for a second, and then try, which of course worked, but by this time I was up looking for the spare!! I wish I had stayed up but I had breakfast and then went back to bed, till 10!! I very much dislike staying in bed that late, it really knocks my day out of kilter....I have set off to go into town, (need a birthday card and a gift) but I've turned back, a) cos I don't think I should be out at all and b) the rain is tipping down and there are floods everywhere :|

NB - Jen got the job she interviewd for yesterday! :D BUT - it's at the Uni so term time only and of course she'll only get paid for the time she works which effectively halves her current pay - BUT it gives her more time to sew and get her own business moving so she has to decide whch option is better. She's currently back there doing a sort of induction thing and she's taken her bank details along but she has many questions....she's in work (hotel) tonight so I'll be spending a fair bit of today on me toddles :)
