Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 07 Jan 2016, 06:48

Good morning. :D

Forecast sunny and 21 degrees....which Jackie & Sue will enjoy as they're flying over today! :D :D :D I can't wait to see them! :D :D

They land at 1.45pm, we're dropping the bags at home then heading straight for lunch at Hairy Mary's. :cute: :cute:

Once the shops re-open at 5 o'clock we'll have a mooch round them. :D

Don's going to meet up with us later and we'll have another beer or two and dinner out. :D :D

Have a great day everyone. x

Morning Ally, I hope you have a terrific time with your friends! :D

Morning all :) Another blustery day here, not sure whether it will rain yet or not, but probably LOL No big plans - B is working, and Mick is in Swindon again. Probably a walk somewhere later.

Have a good day :) xx

Good morning Ally, Kaz and all.

It's a bit dull here this morning. I'm off to the doctors shortly to have my blood coagulation checked.
Then I'm having a quiet day, as we had a busy one yesterday, with a journey using 4 buses and 5 trains.

Hope you are all OK.

Morning all - a very very wet start to the day here but meant to be clearing up (yeah right!)

Ally, have a wonderful time with Jackie and Sue. How long are they with you?
Ka, enjoy your day, whatever you may end up doing
Aggers, good luck with your appointment and enjoy a quiet day in. I must have missed it; where on earth were you going yesterday involving that much public transport - Lands End? :D

I've got the day off today; vet appointment for Monty this morning as he had an abscess that needed checking; thankfully all healed well so he had his annual boosters. Then an eye test a bit later in town after which I'm meeting Nadine for lunch and then a nurse appointment later this afternoon. So a nice steady plod day :D All followed by a quiet evening at home - bliss

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morningall, dreadful weather last night and we could hear a drip drip drip, but can't figure where it is dripping :? Then it turned cold and dry as the night went on, it is cold out now and the air is damp. Kellie is here, just about to get up from her nap, poor little thing has a bad cold combined with teething but is in good form. Michael will be here after school. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all!! Still extremely soggy and wet here in the NE, crossing my fingers that this mightbe coming to an end sometime soon, I heard we have snow on the way and that usually means colder and DRIER!!! :D :D :D

Had a very upsetting day yesterday,me for health reasons and also something happened at work which has affected us all...I might post about it on another board later. I've now got Jen's cold bug, spent ALL of yesterday coughing and also felt very hot, then about an hour before the end of the day, I could feel an IBS attack coming on   I have a bit of a phobia about using the loo for 'that' when not at home, and I was with Jan and Anne.....I ended up leaving work five minutes early and ran home to a warm bath and more 'upset'....all seems ok now though, plus I finally got a fair nights' sleep after being awake almost all of the previous two nights :(

Jen is as I speak having her interview....she's hoping to work in the Uni cafe, so it will be all day shifts (no lates or evenings) and static hours. May I ask for some vibes for her, thank you xx

Have a great Thursday!! Meri your day sounds heaven to me - I LOVE spending time alone in my home :D :D

Not that far, really. we have to use two buses to get to the railway station, then two trains
to get to our final destination, which was Stourbridge, at the end of the shortest branch line
in England. Coming back we had to use the branch line shuttle train plus two main-line trains
to get to out local station.
Actually we quite enjoyed the outing, and it didn't cost us a penny.

Sounds fun Aggers, if tiring ;)

Well I've had a 'double whammy' to contend with, as well as the wifi my laptop charger stopped working, and I had to wait for Mick to come home to take a look. The little round plug had come away from the cable, Mick has mended it for now but I might need a new one

Hope everybody has had a less irritating day than me LOLOL :cute:
