Ten different apartments, all the same shape and size, yet ten very different views on what is comfortable and acceptable.

Fascinating.

Di, my Chris was living in one room, just about, in his studio flat. It was very difficult - he had a bed, his computer desk and a swivel chair and his clothes were hanging on hangers from the curtain rails and doors :( No room for any wardrobes or chests of drawers :? I hated it and was very relieved when he moved!

My ex flat mate and I each bought a property back in 2000; she a studio in Surbiton and me a 1 bed maisonnette with a garden and an area that was no where near as posh as Surbiton ;) . I must admit; she did amazing things with her little space but I couldn't live like that - I quite like to sit on a sofa and sleep in my bed and not have a bed function as chair / sofa / bed etc.... and no where for guests to sit
