at my desk at work that is..... I'd much rather be home, still in my jim-jams with a cuppa in hand and 'chatting' to you all via my laptop vs work computer

I had the most amazing relaxing days at home - and all I'll say is roll on age 75 when I can retire :lol:

(although knowing my luck it'll be minimum age 80 by then)

Still lots going on here...eve of Kings tomorrow, the madness of the parades and then the Day of Kings on Wednesday.

And then....wooo hooo. Jackie and Sue are flying over on Thursday. :Hi:

Here till Tuesday...I'll drop them at the airport for noon and I have work at 4pm.

Sympathy, meriad ...... I used to hate it as well!

I'm lucky to have been able to retire a couple of years early - mentally, I was beginning to struggle a bit with all the new legislation (and to a lesser extent the changing technology) in my trade, so I knew it was time to get out, even though we suffered a little bit financially. I can't imagine having to work to 70 or 75 - TBH, I don't think I would have been able to cope with it. :oops:

We probably would have gone back this Thursday after the Day of Kings...but it was deemed too close to the weekend so school opens again next Monday.

Having Jackie over is an extra bonus. :cute:

Aw Ria, I know it isn't work but I didn't want to get out of bed and go out in the rain into town, for WW, either, it was tipping down by the time I left. It still is :roll:

Master O and myself are off fishing tomorrow. The kids have another month off before school starts. We should get another trip away in before they go back.

(Runs and ducks before the rotten tomatoes start flying )
