Good morning Sunday the 3rd

Postby Weka » 02 Jan 2016, 20:21

Sorry,I know this is too early for you guys and will possibly confuse, but I don't know what day of the week it is and I refuse to look it up, I'm on holiday mode.

Looking a lot brighter outside today. It's rained all year so far. I would describe it as a bit of wind and rain, but for clarity, we've had 40mm of rain just yesterday, and wind gusts to 90km/hr. Campsites have been flooded out, tents mangled, I'm so pleased we cancelled going and stayed at home. Nothing like the the rain you lot have had though.

I'll take missy back to the doctor today and hopefully get the all clear, and if so, we will head down south to raglan to my parents batch tomorrow. We have another week roughly before hubby has to go back to work.

Feeling lots warmer today, yay, I believe summer has returned

Saundra that has confused me a whole lot more than Weka could :D
It's the second of January today (Saturday), and by the time it's good morning for us in the UK it will be Sunday the 3rd...just in case anyone's not sure  :? :)

I think we'll keep this going as the Sunday morning thread, eh? ;) :D Weka that was confusing but fun!

Morning all, it is of course pouring down here, the locals are building an ark :P ;) Having a quiet day after the big day yesterday, the weather is so bad that instead of all going out for brunch and making a morning of it, J and P are heading off home, in case the roads get too bad later. We did have a fab day yesterday though :) :)

Will be taking my decs down later, but otherwise no plans - have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning all; now 12 hours after my first post it is morning - that was funny :D

I'm planning on doing a bit of baking today but that's about it. Rather windy and wet again (still?) so definitely an indoor day

My upstairs neighbour is moving out today; not sure how she's wangled it but she seems to have an overlap with this flat and the new one as she's been moving bits in slowly (apparently the person with the moving van let her down?). Today is her last day here and then apparently the owner is fixing up the flat and putting it on the market. It'll be interesting to see how much it sells for as that would give me an indication of what mine could be valued at.

Must say I'm so not going to miss the constant mess and filth of upstairs, nor the constant shouting and f*ing and blinding they do at each other that I usually hear on the weekends - I don't think they've ever had a normal conversation (this is mom and her 6 year old son!). But on the other hand; better the devil you know than you don't...

time will tell

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever it is you're up to. xx

Morning Ria, oh yes that will be interesting about the price, I am always straight on Rightmove when one of the houses near here goes on the market, just to check it out    I hope your new neighbours will be easier to live with, I remember some of the problems you've mentioned with them!
