Good Morning Cruiser.

We had a day of visiting in-laws. And now 2 children (throughly sugared up) thankfully have crashed and are asleep, before the sugar crash came. (Why must grandparents insist of buying a years worth of lollies and chocolates??). Would I be a bad mother if I threw 3/4 of it out?

Hope everyone's new year starts as "sweet".
Everything happens for a reason

Good Morning all, and Happy New Year :)

Fireworks galore around here at midnight but thankfully the zylkene tablets calmed Fraggle down and Pepper is never fazed by them! :D It feels a lot colder today, but dry which is the main thing :) Having a quiet day, my sister and her family arrive tomorrow so the weekend will be mega-busy ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, Happy New Year. Dull here with rain forecast (just for a change). We are heading into town, one of the big department stores always has an extra 10% off their sale items on New Year's Day and I want to get towels and maybe a duvet cover. Just trying to decide whether to get the bus or go in the car. We'll eat out to save cooking this evening. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all and Happy New Year :)

It was tipping down and blowing a gale here last night, we were glad to be indoors. We opened a bottle of bubbly and toasted the New Year in while watching the fireworks on the box.

No plans today although we really should make an effort and go out for a walk, it's lovely and sunny here at the moment.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all

well after thinking I'd have a quiet night in, Karl called about 4 asking if I wanted to pop round to theirs; the kids were quite keen to stay up 'til midnight and Nadine was feeling loads better so off I went. They'd invited another set of friends who we thought had their family from SA over, turns out though that the parents were flying back to SA yesterday so they (the friends) were going to be home alone as well; so very very impromptu evening but such a lovely relaxed one just nattering and watching TV and then seeing in the New Year. Got home about 2am so much much later than I thought it would be and only got up at 10.30 this morning.

Not sure what the day will bring - nothing planned. Karl will come by in about an hour to pick me up so I can go collect my car. I have a chicken in the fridge so will turn that into chicken soup at some point - but that's about it.

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Good afternoon everybody.
We are back in the land of the living after a very enjoyable evening dancing. No drinking as we were driving.
Had a late breakfast and will be watching TV this afternoon. Mrs.e has lost her voice again. Have got several boxes of paper hankies as she is using them a good rate of knots.
No rain and it is cloudy. Hope it stays like this so the floods will go down
Have a good d ay everybody.
