I know you don't tango

But...this piece of music is a favourite of ours to dance to :D Ok, we aren't quite up to the standard here ;) But we aren't too shabby. I think you can also see why tango can be so emotional.

Watching this I wish I did Tango Loz. It was beautiful and emotional made all the better with no audience clapping and cheering all the way through like on SCD! The silence as the audience watched let us hear the music and really concentrate on their dancing. No constant head flicking and baleful stares either. Thanks for sharing! Can you really do that? *clapping hands*

I can do most of that to a degree. The lovely thing about the tango is that it is improvised, so the dance is different every time. It all depends on the 'connection' between the dancers. When you have a close embrace you have to 'feel' the invitation of each step from the chap and then go with it. It is like a conversation really and not the choreographed dance you see in SCD...but I love to see that too of course :D

They certainly had a connection and I loved the way he leaned into her as they danced.

Oooh lovely. I've just come in from work and watched this. :D :D

Even just the way he put his hand on her back was very sensual. :D :D :D

I think a lot of people think it is sensual, and in some way it is, but because you have to concentrate so hard on the 'invitation' of each step you can think of nothing else apart from the music. So for 3 minutes you are alone in the world and sometimes with complete strangers

Just beautiful - and very sensuous, I think :)

Loz that is lovely, and I think it must be wonderful to be able to dance, but truly I have absolutely no sense of rhythm, and not terrifc balance either. We were taught the basics of ballroom at school and I was hopeless....................
