We've opened all our presents, and put the turkey in the oven.

Morning all, peeing down rain here We have had a lovely American style brunch, oatmeal (well ok, porridge), pancakes with sausages and that lovely thin crispy bacon and lots of maple syrup, then some very yummy ginger muffins. That should keep us going until dinner, which is apparently to be at 4.30. We had thought we might wrap up and get out for a walk but the rain is just too heavy now. Time for some phone calls before having a shower and dressing ourselves up for the day. Enjoy your Christmas Day everyone

Good afternoon. My clock does say it is past noon.
Had a lie in this morning as we did not get to bed till after 1.00 a.m. We were out dancing last night. Won a bottle of whisky in the raffle.
Had smoked salmon and tomato for breakfast. Had a coffee and scone for elevenses.
Will be having dinner about three.
It is raining again so we are snuggling up in front of the TV.
Have made some phone calls

Gorgeous presents, turkey breast cooking - can't go without cold turkey! - so it smells as it should
Father Christmas left me a lovely bag of Lancome, including just the right shades of eyeshadow to go with ny outfit, so I'm off to the bathroom to have a play

Merry Christmas everyone. It's Boxing Day here, I emerged out of pjs about 11:30 after getting up at 10. I am a wee bit shattered today. It will probably take me a few days to recover.

We had a picnic lunch (with left overs of course) at a friend of my brothers lifestyle block across the road from mr .com 's old mansion (he move out a month or so ago). Anyhow,,, This man has a train track in his backyard and there were about 5 engines, mostly steam engines running around and some giving lifts to people. So the kids (and I) have spent most of the day going around in circles. I'll put some pics up soon.
