I feel very naked....

I left the house this morning and on my way to the station I realised I left my mobile, my work blackberry and my watch at home.....And I'm out for dinner tonight.

I really really don't like being out of the house without any means of telling the time or the ability to get hold of someone should the need arise. I should have turned around for them but then I'd have been late for work (well later than my normal late )

Funny isn't it? Twenty years ago we all managed without mobiles and stuff, and the world didn't cave in around us, but now we feel so vulnerable out without them I forgot to take my mobile with me to the supermarket last week, and it made me feel a bit odd to be out without it It was only the Sainsbury's a mile up the road...............

Always had a wrist watch but is it not wonderful that in the last few years you can have something in your pocket with which you can speak to someone anywhere in the world?

Pederito - I'm not sure which is worse, not having my watch or my mobile. The blackberry I can do without but the other two... I struggle
