Scrub the Christmas Pork Pie, though - Master O finished it off today!

We'll be getting up when we feel like it and as we don't do present - and we don't have a tree or anything this year, either 8-) -we're going to have a fry up for brekkie, then a walk down to the beach, back to our normal cafe, have coffee and brandy, back for roast chicken and whatever veg I've got left.

Before we eat, which isn't normally until about 6.00, we'll sit outside, in the sunshine, with few beers.

Just us two here together, as I cant travel now. Next door has offered to bring M in a Christmas lunch, which is lovely as he would not have cooked a Christmas meal just for one. I am looking forward to a tiny amount of mashed potato with gravy. That will be the height of my festivities! No alcohol either!

Cal, hugest hugs, even if it's smashed spud x

Can they do it with olive oil and butter? We - sorry, make that I  - do it that way and it really makes a difference. Maybe the oil is different here, though.

Boas festas xx

We will get up at 8.30-9.00 and plan on having a brunch type brekkie - pancakes, thin crispy bacon, sausages, maple syrup, then ginger muffins - we don't give each other presents. If it is a nice day, we may have a walk although not on the cliffs as we would like because of my ankle. We are having our dinner with Miss Osc and her family, plus my sister, SIL's sister and her children and his mother and her partner. Mr Osc has been asked to make a pavlova which he did this morning, and he will do the cream and fruit for that in the morning, plus he is bringing home made breadsauce, which Miss Osc loves. We will go at about 3.30 to leave some time for opening presents with the children and I believe dinner will be around 4.30. We will come home early enough and have our Skybox set to record various programmes.
