and Peter and the Wolf was absolutely STUNNING! :D :D

Peter and the Wolf was first, and Simon Callow narrated it absolutely beautifully and the Mozart Orchestra were superb :) :) Then a short interval, the orchestra came back out and the film began - having live music made a real differnce. The best bit was when the boy soprano came out on stage - in his dressing gown with teddy under his arm - and sang his little heart out for "Walking in the Air" :) Mick and I both had tears in our eyes.....

I'm so glad we went, it was a beautiful start to Christmas and I feel really festive now :) :) ;)

Oh and we weren't the only unaccompanied adults, but it was full of children - and my programme came with a pack of crayons to colour in the pictures inside! :oops: :Hi: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Was this in Cheltenham Kaz?

If it was my friend and her little grandson were there too! :D :D :D

Saundra I've nobody to give the crayons to! So I put them in the kitchen drawer until I see my friend with grandchildren :? ;)

Di it would be a dull old world if we all liked the same things :? :) :D
