A quick run then back to finish Jacob's room. I'm really pleased at what was done yesterday as it looks really lovely.

Popping to Ikea this afternoon for new curtains and a light shade and that'll be that.

We'll have lunch when we're out and get some shopping in.

Today, 12 years after we bought this house - and even more bizarrely - at the same notary, at the same time, 12.00pm - - we are selling it



Then it's pop down to the bank, to drop the cheque in, pick up the one for the new house and have a couple of beers, to celebrate.

Off to our friends for dinner, which will mean much "no, no more for me thanks" and hands over tops of glasses, as we're up early tomorrow, to get to the new house by 9.30.

Well, a nice day in prospect here, it's mine and Mick's trip to see The Snowman and Peter and the Wolf I had a lovely time yesterday, at the Christmas meal - gorgeous food and great company, Our table was booked for 12.30 and we were there until well gone two I had roast beef but couldn't finish it all so bought home a doggy bag for the pups Mick has the whole day off so we'll go out late morning and have lunch first, as the performance starts at 1.30 Becky isn't working today (probably just as well, as she was out again last night straight from work ) and Harry is happy doing his own thing

Last day in the office for me and then home to clean and make up beds; Frank and Claudia arrive tomorrow morning about 2am from Germany (they're on one of the last ferries over from Calais). I'm hoping to finish a bit earlier than normal which will help.

Gosh it's busy in those supermarkets, what can be going on?
Not that I needed to queue for anything I bought, but I walked through M&S foodhall on the way back to the car, they were handing out chocolates to all the people waiting
Went into town early so I could park
Now done all my Christmas shopping, and the last parcel has arrived too
Food not yet finished but Bb and I are going together as we want wine too, we might try around 6 tonight

It has been cloudy with a few spots of rain.
Been shopping and pottering. Now getting ready to go out dancing.

Hi all - feeling a bit better today, I've gone to work yesterday and today but have been good for nothing when I have got home, but today I feel more normal

Wet this morning but then drier and breezy this afternoon, it's still pretty mild though, doesn't feel at all Christmassy!

Jen's been off work today, but she hasn't done a thing - oh tell a lie, she stripped and made her bed, but didn't put the sheets in to wash (!!) and she has made a cake for C Day dessert....but other than that she has laid on the couch all day watching telly....eeeee it's a hard life!!

Last day at work for me tomorrow then I'm off until Jan 2nd, fabbie!!!!
