Evening all!

Postby TheOstrich » 14 Dec 2015, 22:54

The Ostrich has been missing since last Thursday as unfortunately our bumbling bird stepped off the pavement and was run over by a Trojan horse. :o He has been in computer recovery ward since, and only discharged earlier today.

The surgeons said “Loadsabugs” and charged £45 for a clean-up which I hope has been successful but time will tell. They also recommended running Malwarebytes on a regular basis.

Anyhoo, the bird is back on the perch, looking somewhat woebegone and bedraggled ….. it may have to buy a laptop, I think, to ensure it’s got back-up connection. Three days reduced to playing “Railroad Tycoon 2” on an ancient 15 year old Windows Millenium computer is enough to drive anyone bonkers. Whooo-hooooo - chuff chuff chuff!! :D

I thought the roost had been looking quite tidy.

I had wondered what was 'appening when there was a distinct lack of footy news and chip consumption in The Shed.

Yep, what Ally said!!!!

Glad to have you back and all reconnected - I am such a nitwit that it took me two readings to realise you hadn't actually been run over by a horse, and it was a computer problem. It's a good job you lot have Mick :ugeek: behind me running the techie side of VV or we'd all be up the swanee   :?
