Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 15 Dec 2015, 07:06

Good morning. :)

Positively spring like conditions forecast today so I shall be off shortly for a street hill yomp.

Making choc chip muffins to take into work later. 8-)

Work 4 - 9 and as we're winding down to the Academy closing on Thursday it'll be silly games and fun. :)

I have a Santa hairband and baubly earrings as part of my outfit to add to the silliness.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, that all sounds great fun - love the sound of the earrings and headband :) ;) 8-)

Morning all, it's a bit like the house of plague here this morning, poor Mick is really not well, his cold has gone to a bad cough which kept both of us awake most of the night :o He's sat at his desk already, however, but will be taking it easy and delegating as much as possible - at least he's indoors in the warm! My head is still stuffed up and painful, but I don't feel tooooo bad otherwise, so will see how I go, but will probably also stay in the warm  Becky is working until 3pm, and then having a driving lesson straight afterwards. Hopefully she will stay lurgy-free, she has a lot of shifts to work between now and Christmas :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

A lovely, autumnal morning 8-) the slight sea mist has lifted and the dew makes the fields look like we've had rain - but we haven't

Take it as easy as you can Kaz, these blasted lurgy thingies are taking such a long time to go. A friend has been coughing like a 40 a day smoker for the last 3 weeks :o (and no, she isn't  )

Off down to the bank, to organise the bank draft for next week :Hi: :Hi: then popping into a couple of places for bits and bobs. Will go down to see Flavio later too, to see what he has to say. which might mean taking the computer down

Have a great day Ally, sounds fun.

All the poorlies, take it easy and look after yourselves.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Grey and overcast here.

Hope you're all feeling better soon kaz x

After the doctors yesterday we went down to the harbour and had a big brekkie in one of the cafes and then strolled along the sea front. It was a bit nippy but not too much and the sky was clear, a lovely morning. I hate wearing hats (ruins my hair lol) so a while back I bought myself these http://www.marksandspencer.com/faux-fur-ear-muffs/p/p22403904 in brown, they work a treat. Started raining around 5ish and looks like it didn't stop all night.

Popping out this morning to pick up a small heater for the conservatory, we like to keep the door open, but it's getting a bit cold so hopefully it will do the trick. No other plans for today.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all

Ally, I'm loving the sound of the bauble earrings - I do have some christmassy ones, but may try make bauble ones myself :) Enjoy the last few days of working

Kaz, do take it easy. Same as Ton's friend - I've been struggling with a cough for about 4 weeks - if not longer - recently joined by stuffy nose etc.... Nadine has had it as well and now diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis; it really isn't a fun one at the moment. Keeping in the warmth does make a big difference so good idea on that

Ton, good luck with the computer, hope you're not without it for any length of time?

Jen, enjoy the lazy day at home

Usual work day for me - a lot quieter today thankfully so catching up on personal bits and bobs - rather annoying when work interferes with personal life

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Change of plan

Tom is on his way round, with rolls - and we've just sat down with our breakfast

The computer is fine, just a blip on skype, which I hope Flavio can tell me where/what I've done wrong

Good morning all.

It's grey, dull and mild here. Not very inspiring.

We have some local school children coming to our Retirement Lodge this morning, to
sing us some Christmas carols and demonstrate their ability with musical instruments.
I'm really looking forward to it.

Have a nice day.
