Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 14 Dec 2015, 07:17

Good morning.

Sunshine and a few clouds but warm enough. :)

Off for a walk this morning then back to get ready to go into town.

I've the last of my UK cards to post and a few bits to get for cake making later this week. :)

Staying in this evening and catching up on TV stuff is on the agenda.....this could, of course, all change.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Up at silly o'clock as I've got a fasting blood test this morning, was supposed to have it done in September, completely forgot until the GP put a note on my repeat prescription  E's also booked for the doctor to take a look at a sore on his nose. Sods law, it was looking really nasty on Friday and had spread (looked like impetigo) but over the weekend it appears to be improving. Afterwards we'll carry on into town and stock up on fresh veggies and if it stays dry we'll have a nice stroll around the harbour.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning Ally, what cakes are you making? Not made my Christmas cake yet   I don't always bother as generally only Mick eats it, but as my sister and her crew are coming on the weekend after, and they all like fruit cakes, I'm going to make a light fruit cake with no nuts and then ice it myself 8-) ;)

Morning Jen, I hope the appointments both go well :) xx

Morning everyone :) Not sure what the weather is doing yet, it's still dark and I haven't yet looked outside! Mick has gone to Cardiff today, on business again, but that's an easy and fairly short train ride from here, well under an hour, so he's not driving ;) Could have done without the 6.30am alarm though! :x He's had a cold since last week, and I have a headache now on top of the scratchy throat so I'm just going to do the WW meeting this morning, and give zumba a miss, I think :? I'll see how I feel...

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Rather grey here this morning 8-)

Off to a friends later, to put together the bed we gave her. She's tried, but failed to work it out

Hopefully get the time and date for signing for our new house, then it'll be me on the phone, trying to get removal men etc.

Good luck for you both Jen xx and hope M's cold gets better and yours no worse Kaz. They hang around, these colds.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Grey and nothingy here...

Hope you've got loads of vits in Kaz, I topped up my supply last week with superdrug 3-for-2 and had £5's worth of points to take off too :)
I might get the first of my cards posted  8-) :?
You never know, I might just be ready in time - oh, there is the small matter of most presents to buy
Hope your days go well :)

Morning all, it's dull and dreary, no rain yet but it is forecast. I have suggested to Mr Osc that we go to an early afternoon film as I have a 40% off voucher, which brings it down almost to "silver" rate (I will not say pensioner  ) so that might happen. In the meantime, usual chores, and a walk to the post office to post cards, buy some gift vouchers, get a few more stamps and lodge some money. Hope the cold passes over Kaz, you know Zumba might help by producing a natural sweat and feelgood endorphins. Have a good day everyone :)
