Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 13 Dec 2015, 06:39

Good morning.

Forecast mostly sunny. 8-)

I'm going for a quick run as soon as it's light then back to put the Christmas tree up. :D :D :D

Walking into town with Don at noon as we're going to a jazz concert at the Centro Cultural Vicente Aleixandre.

It's in our town and my friend plays the trumpet so we're going along to support her. :D

After that we're going to have a look at the lights in town and have a spot of lunch.

This will probably take all afternoon which will take us up nicely to Malaga's kick off time so we're going to Paco's to watch the game. :) :)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Dull, grey and rather nasty looking this morning - more wet stuff on it's way :Hi: :Hi: just hope the wood we bought lasts another couple of weeks, otherwise it's a boot load, to keep us going  8-)

The smaller of the two sofas is going to it's new home this morning :) :) and I think I'll just pootle a bit, more packing and then a scrummy dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather xx

Morning all :)

Grey sky and drizzle here.

No plans for today, didn't get any wrapping done yesterday so really must do some today. Most of it's got to be ready for next weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all, it's dull, damp and dreary here. I want to walk to the Sunday market but will see if the drizzle eases off. I've made some plain scones and cherry scones and sorted out some laundry, and Mr Osc has been continuing his cleaning frenzy downstairs, I think he must be sickening for something  Nothing else planned for the day. Enjoy your Sunday everyone :)

Osc can you ask Mr Osc to send some cleaning frenzy-ness over to T please? He does nothing at all in the house *cross*

I had a smashing evening out at my staff meal last night - always ends too soon! We so rarely see each other altogether, and we really do all get along great, lots of laughs, lovely food and drink...brilliant!

I was meant to take J to work for 7.45 but she told me last night that if I was a bit hungover then she could go in late (on the bus) given the adverse weather conditions. It stopped snowing before I went out last night but it froze like mad overnight so our estate roads are dreadful....really bad! So she went on the bus and I watched Strctly whilst eating my porridge! I made myself do the tree.....my most hated task (I think it's because I am a perfectionist and each bauble has to be in just the right place, no two alike close together, all the lights evenly spaced...etc etc) it took best part of an hour and then I faffed about putting other bits and bobs up.....T came back in the middle of it all from the farm but quickly went up to have an hour's sleep when he saw what I was doing!! And THEN I cleaned the conservatory...which is meant to be his job but all he does is mop the floor a couple of times a week and then only around the bits where the dogs can get to, not the nooks and crannies *fume*. Men!!

Not required to collect sis from the hossoe today after all so we might go out for a spot of lunch later on, for now I can't find the Blu-tac or I'd have put our cards up...and I have tidied all up, need to iron but will leave that for the time being....and I have ALL of the wrapping to do but will space that out over the week.

Weather has been lovely, clear and bright - but cold, but now it's clouding over again.

Goodness, I was sure I'd already checked in this morning  :? Clearly not.......

Too many posts now to remember what everyone is up to, but it seems all are fit and well! :) I'm hoping the scratch in my throat isn't the cold that Mick's had for the past few days :x

We've had our usual Sunday so far - up late, out to Morrison's for the weekly shop, a cuppa in the café afterwards and then back here to catch up with Dr Who (we didn't get a chance last Sunday), Citizen Khan, and the absolutely brilliant Car Share, with Peter Kay in it :D :D :D I love our quiet Sundays, when it's just the two of us...
