Afternoon all, absolutely miserable here, non-stop rain so I declared it a day for a track suit and no makeup - hope nobody calls We got the bag of wrapping paper down from the attic yesterday which appears to have other stuff in it too, so I will sort that out and maybe finish writing cards. I haven't bought family ones yet so might get to a decent card shop next week. I have very little wrapping to do as most of my presents are vouchers this year. Otherwise, knitting and reading today, with the Strictly semi-final to look forward to this evening. Oh and Mr Osc is in cleaning-the-house mode so I had better waft a duster around Have a good day everyone

We have snow!!! I should have expected it really....it's our staff Christmas night out (it's become our one night a year out these days!) and on top of which, every year when my brother and his wife go to Australia, it snows here. They fly tomorrow - so it had to happen!

It's meant to rain later on so hopefully it'll all disappear before I leave the house, although then overnight it has to freeze....oh wont THAT be fun when I have to run Jen to work in the morning!!???

Tom has taken Lewis to the match, they've gone on the supporters bus, he'll be back not long after six....Jen is at work till 4ish I think and then I'll be heading out for 7. Have a great Saturday everyone! xx

Son and grandson have been it was a surprise visit
He's working next weekend so I was pleased he c and as its his birthday on the 21 so he took his card
Chocolate bottle of sherry and cash pressie home
They were going to call in town to see coke cola lorry but there are big queues and its so wet
Grandson went to the shop for me got the dm and posted all my Xmas cards 11
