Forecast is mostly sunny and warm enough so that'll do nicely.

Had an absolutely fab night last night with my work colleagues.

Don's flying back this afternoon and as I'm at homework club 4.30 - 6.30 Conor's going to pick him up at the airport.

I'll meet hubby as usual in our favourite bar for Friday beers and tapas.

Morning all

Absolutely tipped down here last night, nice and dry now though.

Because I was out for most of yesterday we didn't get our usual weekly shopping so that's what we'll be doing this morning. Planning to get as much of the non perishable Christmas stuff plus the last few bits to add to the pressies too. Also need to buy something for my aunt and uncle (they're housebound) to give to mother, it's usually Yardley lavender or lilly of the valley spray and talc, fingers crossed I can find it in Boots.

Semi usual work day for me - heading out for lunch with a friend though which will be lovely. Then out for dinner with Karl, Nadine and the kids tonight - so all in all a lovely day me thinks

Was lovely earlier, but we have our clouds back, but still warm

Off to Tavira later, to do a handover of D's little house. He's so upset we're leaving him, I keep getting e-mails, getting all sentimental, dafty thing

Popping into Lidl's on the way back, then home to cook a load of pasties and flans, which we may be eating on Christmas Day

Morning all Well it's murky and grey here but not raining at the moment, which is always a bonus I've no particular plans, I might ring Emma and see if she fancies a coffee somewhere, if she's not busy Mick is working at his desk today, so the dogs will be happy they've got their dad back Becks is working after her couple of days off - she had another driving lesson yesterday, which seems to be going well. She has her theory booked for January

It's just us this weekend, no H, so it will be a quiet one - the decorations are going up tomorrow. I did want the carpets vaxed first but actually the downstairs one isn't that bad at all, so I don't think we'll bother Might get some pressies wrapped on Sunday

I'm off yomping tomorrow Kaz so my tree is going up on Sunday.

This shows me how quickly December (make that this year!) has gone.

Yesterday I thought to myself oh I must put the tree up next weekend as it's the middle of December and that's when it usually goes up.

Then I realised this weekend is the middle of December!!
