Just getting light and there are some high clouds around.

We're off to Ourique to show Ted and Rose the but it will, hopefully, stop either Grumpy or me from doing something we may regret. Then again, it may not. At least Grumpy can shut out the endless twaddle, as he concentrates on driving

Out for dinner tonight, and not at the Capri.

He's rather subdued this morning, as I really laid into him yesterday about his drinking and general behaviour I haven't mentioned the swimming pool we get every time he uses the loo, that'll have to wait, I think

I'm hoping for a quiet day too, for some reason I slept badly. Well actually that's not quite true, once I got off to sleep it was fine but I lay awake until almost 2am, no idea why I've got a few house-y bits to do as I was out all day yesterday at the funeral, and of course as it was a Harry weekend I got nothing done then either

I might venture out for a much-needed walk later and pick up my Christmas card stamps from the little local PO up near Sainsbury's. It's much nicer in there than the huge PO in town these days since they changed the queuing system - one huge long queue for everything, instead of the ticket system where you could take a seat and wait your turn in comfort, so I rarely go in there any more

Wet and miserable here at the moment

Managed to get about half of the pressies wrapped yesterday afternoon, must be the first year I've been so organised

We've got a kitchen planner coming this morning, she's going to give us an idea how we can fit/rearrange things if we go ahead with the extension. Still waiting for a couple more quotes for that though so nothing's fully decided yet. Might pop out to the shops after she's been, depends on the weather.

Not raining! It did rain all night though...

Did well with my list yesterday, managed 4 out of 5 ticks, that hasn't happened for a long time
And 4 rows of my knitting too
Bb's here for a while before working, so we're doing a few bits and bobs.
This afternoon I might even start looking at some (online) Christmas shopping...maybe

Can't believe my geraniums are still in flower and a yellow daisy at this rate my bulbs will be through

Morning all, nice and bright here. Mr Osc has gone to golf early as rain is forecast later. Today I plan to start on the Christmas cards, and I must do some ironing. Di, I am knitting Kellie a little dress, usually manage to do quite a bit while watching tv in the evenings. Don't know if Miss Osc will like it, but I'm just using up some wool I had, so if Kelli doesn't wear it that often, it doesn't matter. Kaz, I hate when I can't get to sleep Have a good day everyone
