We've had a nice day.....started off tidying the house for our family guests arriving (Jen was in the kitchen aaaaages!!)....A and K came first (my brother and his wife) soon followed by my sister Margaret with her son Andy and his wife Jo, and their little girl Georgia, who isn't so little any more now! (she is 11) We were celebrating early as my bro and his wife fly out to their daughter's in Australia next Sunday for a couple of months, so we won't see them till they get back in late Feb....and my BIL is of course in hospital. A and K had been in to visit him on Friday and they told us to 'prepare' ourselves as we had said we'd go this evening and bring sis home - she was going when we had finished eating at ours and then would stay until we got there. I'll update on another board how that went. K was also celebrating the fact that she will be 70 in January (!!) If any of you have seen my family pic on FB, she is the lady dressed in blue - she is tiny and very elegant. A had made her a gorgeous chocolate and cherry birthday cake, and she brought candles to 'fizz'.
We've been to hospital and are now relaxing at home.
My heart goes out to those poor people affected by the flooding. It's no distance from us really....sad to see our lovely Keswick so bad...
I'm glad you had a nice family day Gal, despite the circumstances ((((x))))
Di, sorry you didn't get any bargains in your Morrison's, I expect they vary a fair bit, as do most supermarket branches Lovely about the flowers though, I saw the pic on FB
