Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 04 Dec 2015, 07:25

Good morning.

Forecast nice again. 8-)

A quick run then back to get ready to go shopping at La Trocha with Don. He's off to the UK on Tuesday to visit his mum for Christmas so is buying her gifts today to take over.
I'm being his assistant.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 and that's me off until next Thursday! There's a national holiday on Sunday and Tuesday so they make a 'puente' (bridge) which is most convenient.

Meeting Don afterwards as usual for our Friday beers and tapas. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A gorgeous morning :) :)

We're off shopping for beer, non-alcoholic beer and other stuff. Might be out for dinner, I might cook.

Will post on the family board when I have time.

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning Ally :) Enjoy the Christmas shopping ;) I've just about done mine now, just a couple of bits still to get  Enjoy your days off, as well 8-)

We had a huge rainstorm here last night, really lashed it down! Hopefully that means we won't get too much today, but I'm not counting on it  I'm going out with my friend Alison today, she's picking me up at 10 in her little sports car 8-) The plan is Cheltenham, suggested by A, so I am guessing she wants to do some Christmas shopping, and like Ally I'll be assisting :?  I like spending other people's money for them  Fingers crossed we don't get drownded by the weather!!!

Harry is here tonight, so it's a Harry weekend, hoorah!!!!!! He keeps dropping big hints over the phone and by FB message that he wants a laptop for Christmas. We've got him one, but I'll have to keep a straight face all weekend as we don't want him to know!! ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

ETA Morning Ton, hope everything is ok xxxxx

Morning you three - enjoy the respective shopping trips.

Kaz, that'll be lovely for Harry to open his gift on Christmas day. And have a fab weekend with him at home

definitely a tad nippier this morning than has been in the past; my feet are cold :( . Usual work day for me and then a quiet evening at home. I was out Wednesday and yesterday evening and tomorrow will be a busy day so tonight will be just perfect :D

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here :D

I've done most of the Christmas pressie shopping so only a few little bits to get now 8-)

After brekkie we're off into town to buy some fresh veg, we'll probably have a stroll around the harbour too. We also want to look around for a Christmas tree, it's a bit difficult finding somewhere to put it this year, but E's determined to have a fresh one as usual. He's never grasped the concept of small can be beautiful so I've a feeling we'll find ourselves a tad cramped  Oh and of course the Christmas CD's have been playing all day since the 1st

Hope you all have a good day :)

Afternoon :)
We actually had daylight for the whole morning, with bits of sunshine :Hi:
Then as soon as I got home it clouded over with spits of rain :(

I was out at my art class this morning, oils today, and a kipper! :x
Came home to a lovely fresh loaf that was out of the breadmaker soon after I got up :)

Hope you're all enjoying your shopping trips, I haven't done any yet

It's dry! And the sun is trying to poke through!! Not for long, we have a dreadful forecast for the weekend, very strong gales and yet more rain

After a lovely day out yesterday, despite the atrocious weather, I have the house to myself for much of the day today :D I have a few bits and bobs to do h/w wise, but have just got back from Asda - we're hosting our family pre-Christmas get together on Sunday (never done it before!) so Jen has taken charge of the cooking and I have got in the nibbles and the drinks.

Just got back, and was on putting the shopping away, when I slipped in the garage and landed awkwardly on my ankle/foot and made my sore arm worse!! :?   Supposed to be out tonight but I'll see how I manage, limping badly atm so I have put my foot up and am resting it for a bit. *sigh* I shouldn't be allowed out....

I hope if you are out C shopping, you get what you want - I've still got a couple of people to buy for but I think the bulk of it is done....bought my turkey crown and a chicken joint today, so they're in the freezer. Still have wrapping to do, cards to buy and write (assuming I do that this year, still unsure) and the decs to put up.....but hey ho....

Oh I had a lovely trip out! Got the last couple of little bits, and A and I gas-bagged our way round the shops, talking nineteen to the dozen     We had a bite of lunch, the café made me scrambled eggs on toast with no butter (they usually put in a lot of butter rather than milk, apparently) but it was still super-delish and just what was needed on such a grey chilly day. Cheltenham is sooo lovely at Christmas and the Market had just started. I am going to the Christmas Market properly on the 17th with B and R (my friend from Hereford) and her daughter, so was content with just a cursory glance round it today, which suited A as she wanted to go to other shops.

We had a really nice time 8-) We've also decided that our respective other halves would get on well, so after the New Year we're going to go out for drinks or something, as a foursome :)

Thanks Ria, am really looking forward to seeing him :)

Di, a 'still life' then, at least I hope the kipper was still!

Gal, that's a real shame about your arm, I hope it doesn't slow up the healing process :o

I AM glad!! You seem to be forging along with new girlfriends, and your zumba class, you're putting me to shame *blush*

Tbh, it is my foot/ankle that has borne the brunt of today's fall....have been resting it all afternoon, couldn't weight bear at all, hopping about all over the place, but it has been a tad easier this evening....hopefully I won't have to be off work tomorrow ....
