What a lovely man

Postby tonicha » 03 Dec 2015, 19:18

our buyer is :) :) :) :)

He came round this afternoon, with Carla and explained why we might not be able to sign until 21 December, for the final deed.

Then he said, because he is the cause of the late signing, if we can't move into our new house before Christmas, we can stay here - even though we've signed it over to him and he's paid us the remaining money.

What a lovely, kind man he is :) :) :) :)

So we're still trying for 23rd December to move, but it's going to be rather tight.

Can't see a removal firm wanting to work on Christmas Eve   so it might have to be 28 December, instead.

Well, if it was his fault it is a fair offer. Still, it is a nice thing to do. :D

That's great Ton, it means you can get Christmas out of the way first - as you say, who will want to move you on Christmas Eve!

It's lovely to hear of such fine happenings nowadays.

(few and far between, I think)

Enjoy your Christmas, Ton.
