I have a pin on both phones, both sim and unlock. Even if I don't use an unlock pin I always use one on the sim. I prefer the swipe grid on Android but it's not compatible with business mail...

My phone which was stolen had a 6 digit pin to unlock and a sim pin. Although I'd blocked the SIM by the time I got home....

I admit to being an offender, but then I only use the phone as a phone and text pad, a music box and camera. Only contacts are on the SIM and it is PIN protected.

I do not do banking or e-mail and there is absolutely no personal info on it at all.

However, I do know that if I am at a family do or quiz or in the pub I can do the "May I borrow your phone?" thing and people are willing to hand them over, very few are locked.

Mick does the admin account stuff too. I suspect he would agree with much of what you've written on here Suff
