Morning all :D

Very wet here, but a little bit warmer going by the thermostat.

We love the cinema and go regularly, but usually only on a Tues or Wed because it cheaper then. I also signed up to the Meercat thing which means one of us goes free. It meant buying an insurance through them, but the trick is to buy a one day travel insurance for less than £5 and it gives access to the BOGOF cinema thing for a whole year, you save that in the first trip so a definite bargain. Today we're off to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. The trailer looks fabulous so fingers crossed this last film in the series lives up to the rest.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

It's dull but dry here. Been two good walks this morning, as I recently read that plenty
of walking reduces your chances of picking up infections. Worth a try, anyway.

Have a nice day, and .... keep walking.

Oh Kaz I thought it was still 60!!! No matter as I am not much of a public transport kind of person....would be nice though...Osc I would deffo be off like a shot, I qualify too :D :D Love that you get tea and bikkies too  :D

Work for me, alone - again  Grrrrr!!! Had a bad nights sleep, tummy pain and couldn't sleep....Tom's gone to Nottingham (about now!) to a dog track, he'll not be back till late and Jen's working this evening so I have a lovely night of peace and quiet all on me ownio :D A hot bath and a phone chat with my big sis is on the cards, I think :)

Grey and mizzly here, but slightly milder than the weekend! My car is good to go again, it was the keys' message to the immobiliser, apparently, (??) so £127 later I can at least start it again!!

Got a message off Donna earlier asking if I can have Lily on Thursday, 11-3. It was lovely to be asked but a) she hasn't given me a lot of notice and b) I don't hear from her unless she wants me to watch the kiddies :| Grrrr..

Have a great Tuesday everyone :D

My understanding Gal, is that it kicks in when you get to state pension age, which will be 66 for me now :( I would love to be wrong however! 8-) :D

Jen what a great 'wheeze' that is, to access the Meerkat cinema offer! 8-) I might well do that myself - I was gutted when Orange Wednesday was no more, as I often took advantage of it with either B or H!

Oh gosh Di, I hope Bb's knee is ok! :( As you say, he's much too young to be falling to bits! ;) :D xxxx

Well Aggers, I should definitely be germ free then as I've walked my socks off! Up to Sainsbury's to pick up some cough stuff for D, then up to see her - I took soup and rolls for our lunch - and then home again just now. Must be a good three miles or even more all told ;)

Well that was a great success! My sister came along, and for €3 each we got the film, plus tea or coffee and two bikkies! Think we will be doing that regularly, and the film was really enjoyable too :D

That is a good deal Osc :)

Well, the Dr is concerned there may be some kind of infection; by the time we got there his knee was red and swollen, so we're to go to the hospital tomorrow for blood test and x-ray.
It's now had an icepack on it, and he's taking up to the limit of painkillers.
So much for me being pleased at having no hospital appointments for a while! :D

He probably doesn't Ton.
There's no injury, but infection can come out as a symptom anywhere in your body, as I understand it.
There's nothing obvious causing the problem but it's really quite bad so they're doing a good job investigating.

Oh no, I hope it comes right quickly.

Had a power cut this morning. I loved the neighbours reaction when I drive up and opened the electric garage door. We run solar (supplemented from the street)

It's about to thunder so I'd better get outside quick and clean the chicken cage.
Everything happens for a reason
