Good Morning Tuesday

Postby tonicha » 24 Nov 2015, 08:19

Morning everyone

Looks a gorgeous morning out there, but chilly at the moment.

Yet more packing - not a lot left now   and now I can start cleaning inside wardrobes, kitchen cupboards. Also need to order some gas    we were really hoping it would last, but nope, especially now T & R are coming over next week. So we'll just get a little one.

A few more phone calls to make and WM, it's beginning to look like I won't be without computer access for too long, maybe a day ;)

Next door having a lot of work done, so cement mixer going from 8.00 until 6.00 again, no doubt

have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ton it sounds as though everything is coming along well for the move!! :D :Hi:

Ally, how lovely, I am typing this bundled up in my fleecy dressing gown thinking about a nice hot shower! LOL :D :D :D ;)

Well it's very gloomy and damp here this morning, the lovely crisp sunshine has disappeared, at least for a day or two! Oh well not to worry, I have a walk planned later and have plenty of stuff to be doing here in the meantime ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :)

Ton good luck and hope you do reach the end of the packing / cleaning very soon. Although if you're only moving towards Christmas won't you need most of the stuff that is packed between now and then :?
Ally - want to swap places? Delightful drizzly, damp and grey over here? Come on - you know you want to :D.
Kaz, it definitely all of a sudden is fluffy gown weather isn't it? Stay in and warm ;)
Cruiser, same for you - stay in and warm and enjoy pottering :D

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, fairly dull and damp here, although Mr Osc is still planning on playing golf unless it rains in the meantime. I'm going to the cinema this afternoon to see "A Walk in the Woods". The nearest cinema to us (20 minutes drive) has what they call Silver Cinema on a Tuesday, usually at 11am, but today at 2pm also, it's only €3 againt the usual €7 and is available to over-55s so I'm a bit late coming to it  Might see if my sister will come along, but she fights against anything that might consign her to old age (she will be 60 next year). As for me, if it gets me in cheaper somewhere, I embrace it ;) Apparently you get a cup of tea and a biscuit

H/worky stuff before I go, Mr Osc is doing the vacuuming as I type, he has turned into a great little houseperson since we moved ;) Have a good day everyone :)

Osc I would go for that like a shot - Half price cinema?? Bring it on! In fact I was hopping mad when the changes in the pension laws meant I would no longer be getting my free bus pass at 60 ie in three and a bit years time! I would have loved one! 8-) :D

Ria, I'm tempted to stay in the warm, but I need the walk really ;) Plus I might pop in and see D, who has fought a cold/sore throat ever since she got back from Scotland three weeks ago and didn't sound too bright on the phone last night......

Morning Saundra, I hope your parcel arrives. I sent one yesterday, for a friend with a birthday tomorrow - I hope she gets it in time :)

Morning Cruiser, have a good day! :)

Morning :)
'Tis horrible, have given up and put the light back on  It's not cold, but would far rather that.

Not sure what I'll be doing today; Bb's not working but can't go anywhere as he can barely walk :?
His knee was a bit niggly on Sunday; by the time he came home yesterday it was much worse, and today he's struggling :?
He hasn't done anything in particular though, so I got him to phone the Gp rather than take him to A&E, and they agreed that was probably best, so I'm taking him there for 4.20.
Trouble is, without knowing what's wrong, not sure whether it needs rest or movement, heat or cold...he's taken ibuprofen and rubbed arnica on it :)
Can't have him falling apart like this, he's only young!
I shall probably go out for some shopping and leave him with it ;)
