Morning
F-f-freezing here but no ice or anything, and that horrid wind has gone
Take it easy Osc, you were doing so well x
Gal at least Jen hasn't been somewhere hot and sunny so the weather shouldn't be a shock Hope they've had a good time x
Jen hopefully plenty of time for your cold to be well out of the way x
Debih good plan for the two films
We had unexpected visitors yesterday afternoon . Friend D who has the house at Barton phoned and came with her late husband's cousin, L, who I'd met quite a few times and Bb had once or twice.
She's just sold her house at Glastonbury and is buying somewhere near Salisbury but between the two is staying at the Barton house.
L is quite a character, definitely one of the strangest people I've ever met - the first time I met her, while I was living at D's house, she'd just come back from a Navajo Indian reservation, and the house at Glastonbury was bought because of ley lines
Thankfully we had cake, I'd had a quick stomp up and down the High St and bought a chocolate & banana cake at a charity stall - and very nice it is too! I did fancy the cake anyway but felt I had to buy something; the poor things had been out in that freezing cold, right in the path of the vicious wind, since 9 o'clock, trying to raise funds for their pre-school so they could have a Christmas party
Not doing a lot today, have made some spicy carrot soup for lunch, and got chicken breasts out for a curry for dinner.
