Good morning. :D

Nice again. :D 8-)

Was supposed to be off mountain climbing today but David has a chest infection so it'll be next Sunday now. :D

I've had a really busy past couple of days so I'm more than happy to chill out at home. :D :D :D

Reading and TV catching up.

Have a great day everyone.

7.30 on a Sunday morning. Aaarrrgh. S has a new job - working at the local Christian Guild hotel and it looks like it's going to be mainly breakfasts (they are strictly sticking to he child employment law - no working after 7pm and no more than 2 hours working on a school day or Sunday). It is within walking distance - about 20/25 minutes but I'm not mean enough to make her get up to walk there for a breakfast shift (she can do that if she ever gets a lunch shift). We thought it would just be a Saturday but it looks like it's Saturday and Sunday. So 7x7am starts a week. Groan!

Riding at 12 then home for lunch then we are off to the cinema at 5.30. The girls are watching the new Hunger Games and me and mum are going to see the Lady in the Van. Mick is working from 3pm (at the local mining museum so he's going after it closes) and then he's going on to the vicars 65th birthday bash (I'm missing it to go to the cinema - which is a shame because his 60th was fab - he has it at the local pub and most of our friends will be here. Apart from the religious aspect of him (he does shove it down your throat sometimes) Nick the Vic is an absolute scream.

So a not so lazy Sunday for us!

And we still have snow hanging around - the lane is clear but it's all over the gardens and fields still.

Good morning Ally & Debih,
Off to the local waste dump to get rid of the packing which was round our new chest freezer. There is too much to put in the paper waste bin and we can take some more rubbish.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone :)

Ally, sorry that D is ill but it does give you a nice day off to chill 8-) ;)

Debih, that is an early start for a Sunday   Good luck to S in her new job :)

It looks like a dry, cold day here - suits me fine, as at least it isn't raining  Morrisons first, and then back here to watch a few things we have 'saved' on iplayer - Dr Who and Citizen Khan for a start :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Another gorgeous morning 8-)

Berlimey Debih

We'll be doing not a lot today, we've almost finished all the packing, tomorrow starts the organising stuff, contacting the lecky company, insurances etc.

Also going to organise the bank draft for collection on Wednesday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Beef casserole for dinner, don't normally have beef, it's very very expensive here and normally as tough as old boots, but this was on a special in Aldi's.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Thought my cold was on the mend, but I've woken up with the snots again this morning, so annoying  Hoping it clears before next Saturday as it's mother's Christmas party and the last thing any CH needs is someone bringing in a cold.

Gosh debih, reading about your busy day made me want to head back to bed and hide under the covers  Good luck to S with her new job.

Not sure what we're doing today, will see how we feel after brekkie.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, lovely sunny morning here, although I'd say it is cold, and the sea is rather grey looking. My ankle is sore today, I think I did too much yesterday  So will take it easy this morning. This afternoon we are going to a social dance, obviously I won't be dancing but it is the first one being run by someone we would like to support, so we will show our faces. Then home for Strictly results :D Have a good day everyone :)

Take it easy Osc x

Still cold and grey here, the snow has largely gone but has been replaced by black ice :( Tom's just back from the farm and he said he'd slipped down about 8 times while walking our two dogs first thing....and the roads are treacherous :|

Going to the airport to collect Jen and her friend later this aftie :)

Trying to keep warm till then ;)
