The joys of packing

Postby tonicha » 19 Nov 2015, 08:31

Grumpy - where is the anti-mozz plug-ins.
packed

Me - where's the recipe book.
packed

Grumpy - Where are all the books?
packed or given away

And that was just this morning - think how long we've got and how much stuff I've packed before then

Grumpy said he'll have to keep moving, otherwise he'll also be packed

Poor Grumpy

But moving really isn't easy when you don't have a confirmed move date; so much that you still need on a daily basis that just can't be packed quite yet.

Lol!!

Bout last move I numbered all our boxes and wrote the contents into an excel spreadsheet then when I needed to find something I just looked it up, then knew which box I was looking for.

Towards the end the contents were labeled "sashas stuff from under her bed...!

I always left it till the last minute then threw anything in to any box with space for it to fit. :o  :P :P :P

I pack for holidays in similar fashion.

We numbered each box, then had a list with each number on it detailing what was in that numbered box. It worked extremely well over the more than six months that we were moving from place to place. Basic, simple and effective, I lived by that list!!

Throwing things out of each box only to find that "it" is not there is much more fun.
