And where does the stuffing go.
My mother used to put it inside so that some of the juices while it was roasting got into the stuffing. She used to make her own stuffing.
I have already been told to go to the naughty step as I have mentioned C****** cards
;) ;) ;)

The £27 odd, WM ..... actually, I noticed there was a small reduction in the price / kg compared with the previous year. It will feed 4 on the day, and we usually give my S, who joins us, a reasonable piece of the left-overs to take home with her, so she's got some cold cuts as well.

The gravy - well, that's definitely going to come from M&S along with the cranberry sauce and the bread sauce. All microwavable, I think; the cranberry sauce and the bread sauce are moist and the turkey gravy is a little bit salty but very tasty.

Stuffing - I'll hop up to Sainsbury's for their special 12 packs of leek and something stuffing balls. We've already bought a couple of tins of their ready-to-eat French chestnuts. We'll probably also do a packet of Paxo sage and onion stuffing "with apple" which they bring out for Christmas.

A bag of Asda button sprouts and a bag of Auntie Bessie roast potatoes in duck fat already in the freezer, so we're well on the way to getting sorted! We try and make it as easy as possible on the day - the hot trolley certainly comes into its own ...... ;)

Chipolatas are the problem. You can't get decent chipolatas these days .... unless you can recommend any? :D
