..... the Christmas Turkey!

We usually order it from our local farm shop / butchers and pick it up Christmas Eve, but when we went there today armed with our size and cost information, we noticed they had a couple of turkey breasts on display, one of which was garnished with bacon strips and exactly the right weight - 2.5 kg or 5 1/2 lbs in old money - for £27 odd.

It's now in the freezer ...
