Last night

at the Capri was the best night ever.

We'd not met 30 of the other guests but knew the golden couple, met their son, spoke to lots of people, meeting them again tonight.

The meal was pretty good, considering the poor lad was cooking fish and mixed meats for 40 people,in the smallest kitchen, the cake was brilliant, my friend Jenny made it, the wine, beer, champagne and then brandy flowed, as did the talk, it was soooo loud in there

There was a video of Alan and Nina from the 1960's up to and including yesterday (and she even included me )

They all went off for either bed or music, we stayed in the Capri and chatted to the owner, his son and watched some of the news.

the only downside ? we had the prat from hell opposite us

Oh and Gladys, for only the second time ever, misbehaved

So my new top and trousers had to be covered up and thank heavens that I had an emergency back-up

Naughty Gladys glad back backing decided it didn't want to stick - and probably been the same for a couple of days. I had no idea, until a little leakage

But she - and the backing (a new 'un) ) was as good as gold tonight
