Yes still a smiley, because...well, because if I saw any of you in the street I would still smile at you, as I smiled at a neighbour when I waved at him through the window earlier

And quite right too. What happened is awful but we can't let those monsters win - instead of giving up on the face of adversity you should face it with a positive attitude and smile.

so from me a :) (and a hug) to you all as well.

Good afternoon all.

We've been shopping this morning, and thereby didn't get wet. It's raining here now.

What shocking news. It will be interesting to see whether lessons are to be learned
from this terrible event. Somebody will no doubt be saying, 'I told you so'.
My sympathy goes out to those affected by this tragedy.

Afternoon all, it is a horrible day here, raining steadily since about 9am. My brother arrived back from Fuertaventura last night not long after midnight, and was up and out early this morning to go into town for his train back to Cork. So between the late night and earlyish morning, I'm feeling tired. Can't imagine how people in Paris are feeling today, such horror :(

Spent some time this morning putting details of next year's holidays into an app on my phone and ipad - it's a great way of keeping all the details by forwarding confirmation emails to the app. However it doesn't recognise the American date format unless you change your settings, so I had some editing to do. Then I rearranged my shelves in the bedroom and Mr Osc put the final summer clothes in the attic and took down winter stuff, so I feel justified in doing very little for the rest of the day :D Nice comfort food lamb shanks simmering in the slow cooker. Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :)
